About the event

Geared toward service providers working with families and first responders. In this free workshop, Amy Clark, MSW, LCSW, will provide attendees with:

  • An understanding of the dynamics of the power and control used by abusers to oppress their victims;

  • An understanding of the impact domestic violence has on women and children;

  • Insight into why women remain in abusive relationships;

  • Concrete knowledge on the signs of domestic violence and how you can help the clients you serve.


This free training is informational. No CEUs are offered. Light refreshments will be provided. Inclement Weather: If Tunkhannock Area School District is closed, this workshop will be rescheduled.
