This is not “just the baby blues.” It is a common medical condition that greatly improves with treatment.  We're here to help.

How do I get started?

Moving Beyond Depression is designed to go hand-in-hand with other home visiting programs.  We partner with programs such as Nurse-Family Partnership, Parents As Teachers and Early Head Start to get moms who are experiencing depression the support they need to start feeling better!

Talk to your home visitor about how you're feeling. She will complete a quick mental health screening. If the results show you could benefit from this free counselling, she'll make a referral to Moving Beyond Depression. The MBD Therapist will set up an appointment to meet in the comfort of your home.  Your home visitor is welcome to be there if that’s makes you more comfortable.  If the program is the right fit for you, we’ll get you started!
